Terms and Conditions — Loket 285
Loket 285 is a service provider specialised in permit coordination for signage and visual infrastructure.
The services apply exclusively within the Flemish Region of Belgium.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, assignments and services provided by Loket 285.
Any deviation is valid only if explicitly agreed in writing.


Definitions

Loket 285
The service provider offering coordination and permit-related services for signage projects.

Client
Any natural or legal person who entrusts an assignment to Loket 285.

Dossier
The complete set of administrative, technical and contextual documents required for permit submission.
This includes plans, data and supporting information submitted via the official digital permit portal.


Scope of services under the terms and conditions of Loket 285

Loket 285 provides services only for signage-related permits where no architect is legally required.

The services concern administrative coordination, procedural validation and dossier submission.
Loket 285 does not perform design, execution or construction works.

The Client remains responsible for the accuracy of all provided information.
This includes the legal and factual permit status of the site.

Façades, openings, colours, structures and stability must match the last permitted situation.


Suspension of the assignment

If unpermitted alterations or building infringements are identified, Loket 285 may suspend the assignment.
This also applies to inconsistencies between the factual situation and permitted plans.

Loket 285 is not obliged to continue the assignment until regularisation is completed.


Fees and costs

The fees charged by Loket 285 cover administrative and technical coordination only.

Municipal fees and public charges are never included.
These costs remain entirely at the expense of the Client.

Loket 285 is not responsible for invoicing or collecting public charges.
Timely payment of such costs remains the Client’s responsibility.


Invoicing and payment under these terms and conditions

Loket 285 issues an invoice after the complete intake of a dossier.
Invoices are payable within the stated payment term.

Loket 285 submits or releases a dossier only after full payment.
In case of late payment, Loket 285 may suspend its services.

Late payment interest applies in accordance with applicable law.


Processing time and timelines

The internal processing time starts after receipt of a complete intake and full payment.
It begins on the first working day.

This processing time concerns internal coordination only.

Administrative review periods and decision timelines are set by public authorities.
Such timelines fall outside the responsibility of Loket 285.


No guarantee of outcome

Loket 285 performs its services with due care and professional diligence.

However, Loket 285 provides no guarantee that a permit will be granted.

Final decisions rest with the competent public authorities.
These decisions depend on legislation, local regulations and policy considerations.


Liability under the terms and conditions of Loket 285

Loket 285 accepts no liability for refusals, conditions or delays imposed by authorities.

This includes delays caused by local rules or discretionary assessments.

Loket 285 is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
This includes commercial delay, installation costs or loss of revenue.

Any liability is limited to the fees charged for the provided services.


Geographical scope

Loket 285 provides services exclusively within the Flemish Region of Belgium.

Assignments outside this region are not accepted.


Applicable law and jurisdiction

All agreements with Loket 285 are governed by Belgian law.

Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mechelen.
